Job Overview Medical Assistant
- Internal Medicine Single-physician private practice
- Full-time About the Role We are a single-physician internal medicine practice seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our supportive team. Our office is fully staffed with one front desk coordinator and two MAs, creating a collaborative and well-organized environment. Clinical Duties
- EKGs, spirometry, sleep studies, and ABI testing
- Vaccinations, B12 injections, and CGM application
- Rapid viral tests and urine dipstick analysis Administrative Duties
- Prior authorizations for medications
- Proficiency with various medical computer programs and EMR systems Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $20/hr, negotiable based on experience
- 10 working days of paid vacation
- Monthly allowance following 90 days of employment Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a medical setting
- Passionate about patient care, flexible, and respectful
- Highly motivated with strong clinical and communication skills
- CMA/RMA certification required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred Background Check Required Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check, which may include criminal history, identity verification, and employment verification.
