Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide patient care, support clinical operations, and assist with medical procedures in our family practice. Experience in primary care or cardiology outpatient office setting is a plus. Duties Perform patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting chief complaints with accuracy and professionalism Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature, and oxygen saturation to assist clinicians in diagnosis and treatment planning Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort throughout their visit Assist with clinical procedures Support medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing electronic health record (EHR) systems, ICD coding for diagnoses, and updating patient records efficiently Administer medications and injections following proper protocols while maintaining patient safety standards Conduct EKGs Experience Prior experience working in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or outpatient clinics is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology necessary for accurate patient assessment and documentation Hands-on experience with EHR systems and ICD coding to ensure precise record-keeping and billing processes Proven ability to perform clinical duties involving medication reconciliation, vital sign collection, intake procedures, and basic life support certification is essential Previous clinic experience across specialties such as internal medicine or cardiology will strengthen your application Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through dedicated care and clinical excellence.
