We are seeking a skilled and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities Take and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, etc.) Perform EKGs accurately Administer injections (IM, subcutaneous, etc.) as directed Perform ear lavage/irrigation procedures Assist providers with patient exams and procedures Handle insurance prior authorizations for medications and treatments Manage and respond to patient messages in a timely manner Document patient information using EMR systems Maintain clean and organized exam rooms Support front and back office workflow as needed Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Assistant (Internal Medicine preferred) Proficient in: Taking vitals EKGs Injections Ear lavage Experience with insurance prior authorizations Comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment Strong knowledge of EMR systems Excellent communication and multitasking skills Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Preferred Qualifications Medical Assistant Certification (CMA/RMA)
