Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers by preparing exam rooms and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for patient visits. Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories, recording vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems). Support clinical procedures such as stress testing, applying heart montiors, and basic life support (BLS) when required. Manage patient flow efficiently by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and coordinating follow-up care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters using medical terminology and ICD coding standards for billing and record-keeping. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and pharmacology to support accurate patient care is a plus. Experience operating EHR systems efficiently and familiarity with ICD coding for documentation accuracy. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings.
