Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Thursday, 7am-5:30pm (Planned for Fridays + Weekends off. Schedule may change depending on needs of clinic.) Highlights of the
Position:
Compassionate, Collaborative Care:
Demonstrate empathy, strong communication, and sound clinical judgment while supporting patients and care teams.
Direct Provider Support:
Assist providers with patient care, treatments, and clinical decision-making to ensure smooth, high-quality visits in a primary care setting that supports the whole person.
Clinical Desktop & Chart Management:
Conduct chart reviews, manage medication refills, and support pre-visit planning and other clinical requests.
Patient Preparation & Procedures:
Room patients, maintain exam spaces, administer medications and vaccines, draw blood, and process labs under provider direction.
Quality & Compliance:
Support adherence to quality standards and help implement best practices across the clinic.
Patient & Team Engagement:
Collaborate across clinical and administrative teams to enhance patient experience and clinic workflows while ensuring patients feel heard and respected. Required:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Evidence of Medical Assistant training including all the essential job functions, knowledge, skills, and abilities listed here in this job description, or MA Certification required. Will have up to-date training and certification in Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health & Safety Institute. Must obtain within 2 weeks if not current at hire. Initial and maintained Certification is highly encouraged and supported.
Preferred:
Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants, or CMA
- Certification by the AAMA, or RMA
- Certification by the AMT, or CCMA
- Certification by the NHA.
