About Us - Professional Support Consists of dozens of physician clinics and a variety of specialty services Freeman has more than 300 physicians representing more than 60 specialties Clinics located in Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma What You'll Do Facilitating efficient transition of patients throughout the office visit. Active engagement in creating environment of safety for patients, visitors, and team members through utilization of hand hygiene and personal protective equipment. Ensure patient needs are met safely, equitably and reliably with sincere behavior. Requirements Acceptance into Crowder College Certified Medical Assistant program. AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days. Clinic Competency Assessment annually by transcript due date. Complete all course work and on the job training hours as outlined in the program. Currently enrolled in Crowder College Medical Assistant course and remain in good standing based on the guidelines of Crowder College and Freeman Health System throughout the entirety of the apprenticeship. Documented proof of passing exam for certification/registration as a Credentialed Medical Assistant, upon completion of course work. If Medical Assistant exam is not successfully passed at the end of the program, two more attempts will be allowed within 100 days of the first exam attempt. Full time employment in a Medical Assistant, Clinic position for 2 (two) years from date of certification. Must provide proof of Crowder Financial Award Letter upon hire Must provide proof of FAFSA Application upon hire.
