Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support within a hospital setting. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Prepare patients for X-ray procedures and assist with imaging as needed. Provide basic support when necessary and respond to patient emergencies. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical coding. Support hospital medicine practices by coordinating patient care activities. Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention. Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and handling insurance documentation. Requirements Experience in coding and familiarity with electronic health record systems is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in a hospital environment is highly desirable. Commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
