Job Title:
Dialysis Technician (CCHT)
Location:
Dearborn, MI 48126
Duration:
13 Weeks (Contract) with the possible extension
Interview Process:
MS Teams | 30-60 minutes (Panel Interview)
Schedule:
4 days/week (4x10-hour shifts) Shift options: 4:00 AM•2:30 PM 9:00 AM•7:30
PM Workdays:
Monday•
Saturday Requirement:
Work 3 Saturdays within a 6-week period
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Technician (CCHT) to support patient care in a fast-paced dialysis unit. The technician will be responsible for independently performing dialysis treatments, preparing equipment, and ensuring patient safety throughout the procedure under RN supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform hemodialysis treatments independently in accordance with established protocols Set up, operate, and monitor dialysis machines Conduct pod flipping efficiently to maintain workflow Monitor patients during treatment and report any complications to the RN Maintain strict infection control and safety standards Accurately document patient treatment data Assist with patient preparation and post-treatment care Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of dialysis equipment
Required Qualifications:
Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) certification Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Minimum 1 year of dialysis experience Ability to independently perform dialysis procedures Strong understanding of dialysis protocols and patient safety
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to flip pods efficiently Must pass two exams during orientation:
Medication Calculation Test Dialysis Competency Test Schedule:
4 days/week (4x10-hour shifts) Shift options: 4:00 AM•2:30 PM 9:00 AM•7:30
PM Workdays:
Monday•
Saturday Requirement:
Work 3 Saturdays within a 6-week period
Supervision:
Works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
