Responsibilities include providing basic medical services to patients, reviewing and recording medical history, taking vital signs, operating simple medical equipment (e.g. EKG, PFT, etc.), responding to patients' phone requests (e.g., making appointments, prescription refills, referrals, etc.) and performing various other clerical and administrative duties.
