Position Description:
Under direct supervision of the provider and nursing leadership, the Medical Assistant performs a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to assist in the quality and compassionate care provided to patients. Demonstrates ability to work with diverse population in the performance of duties. These duties may include but are not limited to making appointments and referrals, greeting and escorting of patients to the exam room, obtaining medical histories, the measurement and recording of vital signs, preparing patients for an examination/procedure such as Physical Examinations, OB/GYN Exams, Pediatric Exams, Immunizations, and assisting the provider during the examination/procedure. Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant certification Strong knowledge of medical terminology Experience in patient care, including vital signs and intake procedures Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationJob Type:
