We are looking for professional, compassionate and friendly medical assistants who can thrive in a busy environment.
Schedule:
8:00a-4:30pm, 8:30a-5pm, 9:00a-5:30pm
RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet patients, record medical histories, and measure vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, weight). Administer injections/medications, vaccinations, blood draws, EKGs, Urinalysis, PFT, A1C, Strep test, flu shots, drug tests, pregnancy testing, wound care , remove sutures, physicals, tb skin test, etc. Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures. Collect, prepare, and process lab specimens (blood, urine). Sterilize medical instruments and ensure rooms are properly stocked with medical supplies. Maintain medical records and enter documented confidential patient information into the EMR system. Provide excellent patient service by addressing patient concerns and ensuring their comfort. Must be punctual and have excellent attendance and reliable transportation.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • HS Diploma or gen. equiv.
  • Medical Assistant Diploma/Certificate and/or transcripts
  • Min. 2
  • 3 years of medical assistant experience
  • Proficiency in medication administration
  • Basic life support certification preferred or able to renew
  • Proficiency with EMR systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
