GED Full Job Description Duties:
Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records Take patient vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens Assist with patient education and provide instructions for at-home care Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of a medical assistant program or certification preferred Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is a plus Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
