QualDerm Partners is excited to announce an opening for a Travel Mohs Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team. This unique position involves traveling to various locations to assist dermatological procedures, specifically Mohs surgery, which is critical for effective skin cancer treatment. As a Travel Mohs Medical Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced medical professionals in diverse settings, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care. Your contributions will directly impact our patients' outcomes and experiences, making a meaningful difference in their wellness journeys. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and execution of Mohs surgical procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and supplies are available. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients, including taking vital signs and educating them on recovery procedures. Travel to different clinic locations as required, facilitating the smooth operation of Mohs surgery clinics. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records throughout the surgical process. Support dermatologists in the scheduling of procedures and managing office communications. Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols in all settings. Contribute to a clean, organized, and well-stocked surgical environment. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred. Experience working as a Medical Assistant in a dermatology or surgical setting, particularly with Mohs surgery preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology and practices related to dermatology. Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with patients and healthcare providers. Ability to travel frequently and adapt to various clinical environments. Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
