The Opportunity Catherine's is actively seeking a full-time Medical Assistant who will be an integral support to providers in the delivery of compassionate and high-quality services to patients at our facility in Wyoming. We are excited to add a Medical Assistant to work with our exceptional integrated care team as we expand into a new communities, while still providing excellent primary care. Job Summary Our Medical Assistant works as part of team-based care, which includes medical professionals, volunteers, and students involved in daily patient care. Catherine's Medical Assistants support all aspects of patient flow in the clinic setting; perform procedures, communications, and patient education according to established organizational protocols, and perform clerical functions as needed. Catherine's hosts both uncertified and certified Medical Assistants and assigns duties and responsibilities based on the established MA Progression Model (Level
I, II, III
), or as directed by the Clinical Practice Administrator. Minimum Position Qualifications:
Clinical Medical Assistant I Graduate of accredited medical assistant training program; OR at least 1 year of relevant experience in medical office or similar setting as an Medical Assistant, CNA, EMT, Pharm Tech, etc. Active BLS certification Bilingual:
(English) and Spanish, Arabic, Vietnamese, Nepali, Bosnian, Burmese, Kinyarwanda, Swahili, or Pashto Minimum Position Qualifications:
Clinical Medical Assistant II Graduate of accredited medical assistant training program Current Medical Assistant certification or registration in the State of Michigan; OR Equivalent years of experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role Active BLS certification Minimum Position Qualifications:
Clinical Medical Assistant III Graduate of accredited medical assistant training program Current Medical Assistant certification or registration in the State of Michigan; OR Equivalent years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical office setting Active BLS certification Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Requirements:

) Experience with an electronic medical records system Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to comfortably interact with diverse populations Ability to work collaboratively in a team-orientated environment Ability to handle patient and organizational information in a confidential manner Ability to demonstrate competency with a standard desktop and Windows-based computer system, including a basic understanding of e-mail, internet and computer navigation, ability to use other software as required to perform the essential functions of the job Catherine's is an equal opportunity employer.
