Sign-On Bonus for External applicants or current CHW MA Apprentice Students only About the Unit Our Wound Healing & Limb Preservation team offers handson, specialty experience where medical assistants play a central role in patient care and collaborate closely with providers and nurses. You'll build lasting relationships with patients as you guide them from initial treatment through healing, using cuttingedge therapies that truly change quality of life. With locations across West Michigan this role is ideal for both new and experienced medical assistants ready for a meaningful, fastpaced specialty. About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of work As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you'll be a member of our clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of the best possible care. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Required Successful completion of a hands-on competency-based medical assistant training program Required 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting Preferred AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days One of the following Required within 120 Days AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) How Corewell Health cares for you Comprehensive benefits package to meet your financial, health, and work/life balance goals.
