Job Description
Job Summary Seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. The job will include both clerical and clinical duties. Team work and adaptability will be key to success in this job. Duties Rooming patient, obtaining vitals, completing a medication reconciliation, checking for gaps in care. Preparing patients for examinations and procedures. Work with the Doctor to answer patient messages. Schedule follow up appointments, test or specialty referrals for patients. Administer vaccines and therapeutic injections. Perform EKG's Answer telephones, and take messages and schedule patient appointments. Job Requirements Medical Assistant Certification (preferred) EPIC Electronic Health Record experience a plus, but will train.
