Working hours for position are Monday and Thursday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm and Tuesday and Wednesday 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. No Fridays or Weekends Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Allergy Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced medical environment. This position requires a strong foundation in medical terminology, patient service, and clinical procedures, making it essential for candidates to have experience in a medical setting. Experience in allergy is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities Prepare and administer allergy injections as directed by physician and physician assistants. Monitor patients for adverse reactions Perform intake assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting patient history Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and ensure compliance with medical coding standards (ICD coding) Assists with rooming patients Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and coordinating referrals We offer a comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, dental and vision insurance Company paid short and long term disability Company paid life insurance 401k with an employer contribution Generous Paid Time Off Paid holidays including floating holidays If you are passionate about providing excellent patient care and thrive in a collaborative healthcare setting, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity as a Medical Assistant.
