Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings. In this energetic role, you will support physicians and healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative duties that ensure smooth clinic operations and outstanding patient experiences. Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include assisting patient intake by collecting comprehensive medical histories and updating personal information efficiently. Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature, and oxygen saturation levels to support accurate diagnoses.

Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout their visit. Support physicians with procedures such as X-ray imaging, medication administration, and basic life support when needed. Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately by documenting patient encounters, updating charts, and coding diagnoses with ICD (International Classification of Diseases) codes. Coordinate laboratory tests, imaging appointments, and follow-up care to streamline patient flow and enhance service delivery. Provide exemplary patient service by answering questions, offering guidance on treatment plans, and fostering a welcoming environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant training program preferred. Proven experience in clinical settings such as hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or urgent care centers is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology essential for effective patient care. Experience with EHR systems and familiarity with ICD coding necessary for accurate documentation. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred but not required; additional certifications such as medication administration are advantageous . Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach to service delivery; ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments including emergency medicine settings. Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
