Working under a Principal Investigator (PI), CRCs bridge the gap between researchers, medical staff, and patients to ensure trials are conducted ethically, efficiently, and in strict compliance with regulatory and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
Duties Screening & Enrollment:
Review medical records, screen potential subjects against protocol inclusion/exclusion criteria, and manage participant enrollment.
Informed Consent:
Guide patients through the informed consent process, ensuring they understand the risks, benefits, and requirements of the trial.
Participant Monitoring:
Coordinate study visits, monitor patient health, track adverse events, and facilitate communication between participants and the medical team.
Data Collection:
Accurately extract and record clinical data into case report forms (CRFs) or electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
Specimen Processing:
Collect, process, and ship biological samples (blood, urine, etc.) as required by the study protocol.
Clinical Duties:
Perform basic physical assessments (e.g., vital signs, ECGs) and coordinate patient reimbursements.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
