Part-Time Mondays and Fridays 7:45 AM-Noon (approx) and Wednesdays 7:45 AM-5:00 PM (approx) About Our Practice We are a patient-focused orthopedic surgery office dedicated to providing high-quality musculoskeletal care in a professional and compassionate environment. Our team values efficiency, team work and excellent patient service. Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Medical Assistant to support our clinical team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced orthopedic practice. Key Responsibilities Room patients and obtain medical histories (HPI) Prepare patients for examination and procedures Assist the physician as needed during exams and minor procedures Apply and remove splints, braces, and casts (training provided if needed) Perform basic wound care and dressing changes Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system Coordinate imaging, referrals, and follow-up appointments as needed Provide patient education regarding post-operative and treatment instructions Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms Qualifications Prior experience in orthopedics strongly preferred, but not required Proficiency with EMR systems, prior experience with athena is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Professional, dependable, and team-oriented What We Offer Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Supportive team environment Consistent part-time schedule Opportunity to gain orthopedic experience
