Plum Health is a leader in Michigan's direct primary care space. Plum Health is looking for Medical Assistants who are intrinsically motivated to provide this kind of excellent care to patients of all ages and stages.
Responsibilities:
The Medical Assistant will assist Providers; MDs, DOs, PAs, NP's and administrative staff in the examination, treatment, and perform tasks necessary to complete patient care following Plum Health's standards and practices as directed by the Medical Director. Performs other clerical and administrative tasks as required. Be a key partner to our medical provider, preparing patients for exams and assisting with various procedures. Utilize your clinical skills, including phlebotomy and other various lab work.
Required Qualifications:
RMA or CMA highly encouraged Knowledge of Medical Terminology, Computer Skills, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Communication Skills, and Customer Service Skills. Proven experience as a Medical Assistant. We need someone who can hit the ground running.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating in a Direct-Care Model a plus Experience working in a collaborative setting to ensure positive health outcomes Experience in outpatient primary care settings
