Dialysis Location:
25664 Lahser Road, Southfield, MI 48034
Duration:
13 weeks (possible extension)
Pay:
$24•27/hour (W2)
Shift:
4:30 AM•2:30 PM 10:00 AM•7:30 PM (40 hrs/week)

CCHT + BLS
Overview Under RN supervision, the Clinical Technician provides direct care and continuous monitoring of patients undergoing hemodialysis in a fast-paced clinical setting. Key Responsibilities Monitor patients during dialysis and report changes to RN/team Provide direct patient care under supervision Respond to emergencies as needed Perform cannulation, machine setup, priming, and disinfection Ensure proper machine functioning and safety checks Document vitals, treatment data, and incident reports accurately Maintain infection control standards (PPE, hygiene, safety protocols) Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team Support patient education and comfort Key Duties (RN Delegation) Administer normal saline via extracorporeal system Assist with heparin administration per physician order Administer intradermal xylocaine when ordered Instill anticoagulants into catheter ports per protocol
