Onsite We are seeking a friendly reliable, and compassionate entry level Medical Assistant to join our Sleep Clinic team. This role is well-suited for individuals with a hospitality customer service or patient facing background who enjoy helping others and are eager to learn a new skill set in healthcare. Prior medical experience is not required. Full training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate professionalism, curiosity and a strong desire to grow with our organization. You will support patient care through a combination of clinical and administrative tasks while helping ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for patients undergoing sleep studies and related evaluations. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake including gathering basic health information and documenting visit details Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse respiration, and oxygen levels Help prepare patients for sleep studies and other diagnostic procedures Support providers and clinical staff during examinations and testing Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record system Provide clear friendly guidance to patients on what to expect during their visit Assist with basic clinical and laboratory-related tasks as trained Maintain a clean organized, and welcoming clinical environment Support front office activities, including scheduling appointments answering phones and managing patient flow
Requirements:
Strong customer service or hospitality background with a focus on creating a positive patient experience Willingness to learn medical terminology, clinical workflows and sleep medicine procedures Comfort using computers and learning Electronic Health Record systems Excellent communication skills and a calm, professional demeanor Attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinic environment Basic Life Support certification required or willingness to obtain upon hire This position offers an excellent opportunity to enter the healthcare field, gain specialized experience in sleep medicine, and build a long-term career within a growing organization that values training and development and internal growth.
