Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Medical Assistant with verified, strong experience in blood draws (phlebotomy) and injection administration . If you are a Medical Assistant who prides yourself on your "one-stick" blood draw success and precise clinical technique, we want you on our team.
Core Responsibilities:
Phlebotomy Excellence:
Perform venipunctures, capillary punctures, and blood draws on patients of varying age groups and vein accessibility. Ensure proper tube selection, labeling, and processing.
Injection Administration:
Safely and accurately prepare and administer intramuscular (IM), subcutaneous (SubQ), and intradermal injections according to provider orders.
Patient Triage & Rooming:
Efficiently room patients, obtain accurate vital signs, document chief complaints, and reconcile medications in the EHR system.
Lab Specimen Processing:
Prepare, log, package, and track laboratory specimens for courier pickup according to OSHA and CLIA regulations.
In-Office Procedure Support:
Assist providers with minor surgical or clinical procedures, maintaining strict sterile fields and proper infection control.

Required:
Proven Clinical Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience actively performing blood draws and administering injections in an outpatient, urgent care, or hospital setting.
Technical Mastery:
Demonstrated proficiency with vacutainer systems, butterfly needles, and various injection techniques.
EHR Literacy:
Experience navigating Electronic Health Records for accurate charting.
Compliance:
Strong understanding of OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols.
Preferred:
Active Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA)
Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
