Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. Responsibilities Perform patient intake procedures by collecting comprehensive medical histories and accurately recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature. \ Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient encounters thoroughly and efficiently while maintaining strict confidentiality standards. Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, explaining procedures clearly, and ensuring a comfortable experience during all interactions. Prior experience in clinic settings or hospital environments is highly preferred Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to ensure readiness for emergency situations. Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medication for accurate documentation. Strong communication skills combined with the ability to multitask efficiently Key ResponsibilitiesAdministrative Tasks Scheduling patient appointments Managing medical records and updating electronic health records (EHR), verifying patient information Clinical Tasks Taking and recording patient vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, temperature) Preparing patients for examinations and assisting during procedures Collecting lab specimens and performing basic tests including phlebotomy, EKG, spirometry Qualifications and Skills Education and Certification High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a medical assistant program (certificate or degree preferred) Certification as a medical assistant (e.g., CMA) is preferred Skills Proficiency in medical terminology and EHR systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and a patient-centered approach

From $20.00 per hour
