Key Responsibilities:
Assist physicians and nurses with patient care, including pre and post op recovery, taking vitals, placing lines, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with procedures (i.e., egg retrievals, embryo transfers, hysteroscopy). Provide patient education on medications, treatment protocols, and instructions. Perform phlebotomy, administer injections, and collect specimens as needed. Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical system (EMR). Ensure all medical supplies and equipment are stocked and sterilized. Deliver compassionate and professional service to patients undergoing fertility treatments.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Prior experience as a Medical Assistant in a fertility, OB/GYN, or women's health setting is preferred. Training in reproductive endocrinology is a plus.
Education:
Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) or equivalent training is required. Experience as a medical assistant is acceptable.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic clinical procedures.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate, patient-focused approach. Bilingual candidates are highly beneficial (Spanish preferred or Arabic, if possible) How to
