We are seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Medical Assistant/Receptionist who will help create a seamless experience for our patients. Overview The Medical Assistant plays a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. We are seeking a dependable and motivated team leader who is responsible, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional patient service. Certification is not required. This role will work both front and back end of the office.
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM. Duties Greet patients, check them in and out, and manage appointment scheduling Verify insurance, update demographics, and collect copays Answer phone calls, address questions, and route messages Ensure office areas remain clean and organized Scan and upload documents into patient charts Process faxes, referrals, and medical record requests Assist with rooming patients and collecting vitals Support endocrine workflows such as prior authorizations, medication refills, diabetes supply coordination, device training, data uploads, and patient education Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality Requirements Previous experience as a medical receptionist or medical assistant position is required Ability to work under pressure and maintain smooth patient flow Experience in an endocrinology practice is preferred, but not required Familiarity with EMR systems (Athena, Epic, etc) Knowledge of basic medical terminology Ability to multitask, prioritize, and respond promptly to provider requests Professional, friendly, and compassionate demeanor Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and communication skills Enjoy a Monday-Friday work schedule with no weekends, no holidays, in a private practice where teamwork matters and a difference is made.
