Medical Assistant

Job Description Clinic

• Room patients, take vital signs, go over patient history, Epic charting
• Wound care
• Direct assistance with minor procedures with Doctor or PA
• Scheduling patient follow-up appointments
• Ordering various tests for patients Medical Reception
• Fielding phone calls, scheduling appointments, handling direct patient issues
• Scanning patient records and uploading into charts
• Faxing medical record requests to medical record service
• Assisting clinical Medical Assistants when needed
• Checking in patients as they arrive to the office for appointments including ultrasound, surgical center, and general clinic appointments
