Organizational skills Multi-line phone systems Full Job Description Busy Medical Insurance Billing Service seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate would help assist our Medical Billing Specialists with daily tasks including follow up on unpaid accounts and ensure timely reimbursement from insurance providers while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Key Responsibilities Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve billing issues Filing Appeals with Insurance Carriers Answering phones and speaking with patients regarding balances owed Working with physician's offices to obtain necessary information Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in the medical field or medical billing Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS codes Familiarity with insurance guidelines, EOBs and claim denials Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and problem-solving skills Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for professional growth Supportive and collaborative work environment Full time in person position, Monday through Thursday 8am to 4:30pm and Friday 8am to 3pm. Your relevant experience in Microsoft Office and data entry will enhance our team's productivity and contribute to a seamless patient experience.
