Medical Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support in various medical settings, including cardiology, urgent care, and internal medicine. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform intake assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical history. Utilize EHR systems for accurate patient record-keeping and data entry. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment to ensure patient safety and comfort. Provide administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coding using ICD standards. Experience Previous experience in a medical setting is preferred; familiarity with hospital medicine, urgent care Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team. Experience with EHR systems to manage patient information efficiently.
