Job Description
Busy, privately owned, medical practice is seeking an experienced, cross-trained, Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist for our West Bloomfield office. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a medical office. Receptionist duties include but are not limited to experience in insurance verifications and authorizations, answering phones, scheduling patients, and excellent customer service. Medical Assisting duties include but are not limited to obtaining vitals, rooming patients, injections, assisting physicians with procedures, calling back lab results, perform in-office testing, giving patients instructions, and various other duties as assigned by providers or practice manager. Experience with eClinicalworks is a plus! Some evening hours are required. Excellent references, a strong work ethic, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a good attitude toward patients and co-workers are required.
