Job Description

Job Summary Join our healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings. This position offers the opportunity to support the physician by performing clinical and administrative tasks that ensure smooth clinic operations. You will be at the forefront of patient interactions, assisting with procedures, managing vital signs, and maintaining accurate medical records. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates to support diagnosis and treatment plans. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by explaining processes clearly and ensuring their comfort. Support clinical procedures by preparing exam rooms, sterilizing equipment, and assisting during X-ray imaging or minor procedures. Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently by updating patient information, coding diagnoses with ICD codes, and ensuring data accuracy. Administer medications or injections under physician supervision Requirements Proven experience in clinical settings such as hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, primary care, or urgent cares, etc Knowledge of internal medicine or endocrinology is a bonus Familiarity with EHR systems, ICD coding, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to ensure precise documentation. Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence; ability to work effectively within fast-paced hospital or urgent care environments.
Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
