PM Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support a single-provider outpatient clinic. This role requires strong clinical and administrative skills, with a focus on phlebotomy and point-of-care (POC) testing . The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform both front-office and back-office medical assistant duties Conduct phlebotomy and point-of-care (POC) lab testing Perform EKGs and record patient vital signs Room patients and assist providers during clinical visits Manage patient scheduling and clinic workflow Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and records Support onsite medication dispensing and fee collection processes Ensure compliance with clinic safety, security, and operational procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting Strong hands-on experience with: Phlebotomy EKG procedures Point-of-care (POC) testing Patient scheduling and registration Rooming patients and taking vitals Front and back-office operations Active CMA certification required Current BLS or CPR certification required Ability to work independently and manage patient flow efficiently
Location-Specific Requirements:
Experience treating: Acute patients (ages 2+) Preventative care patients (ages 12+) Clinic setting includes: Shared building environment Dedicated parking and entrance Controlled access with secured entry
Work Environment:
