6:00 AM•3:00 PM Job Summary "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant (MA) for a short-term outpatient clinic assignment. Responsibilities include patient intake, vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, POC testing, scheduling, EMR documentation, and supporting both clinical and administrative operations. Candidates should be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Room and prepare patients for provider visits Record vitals and maintain EMR documentation Perform phlebotomy, venipuncture, EKGs, and POC testing Assist with vaccines and clinical procedures Schedule appointments and manage patient flow Support providers and nursing staff with patient care Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms Deliver excellent patient communication and support Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience required Experience with front and back-office MA duties Phlebotomy, EKG, vitals, and EMR experience required Current BLS or CPR certification required Strong communication, multitasking, and computer skills Preferred Qualifications Medical Assistant Certification preferred Occupational Health experience preferred Strong organizational and patient education skills For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
