7:00 AM•4:00
PM Tuesday & Thursday:
8:00 AM•5:00
PM Wednesday & Friday:
6:00 AM•3:00 PM Position Summary We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support both front and back office operations in a clinical setting. This role involves providing direct patient care , assisting with clinical procedures, and supporting administrative functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and experienced in phlebotomy, clinical support, and patient coordination , with the ability to thrive in a collaborative healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties Take and record vital signs Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture Administer vaccines and injections Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing Assist with patient examinations and clinical procedures Patient Care & Coordination Room patients and prepare them for provider visits Provide patient education and support Communicate effectively with patients and care teams Ensure a positive patient experience Administrative Duties Schedule appointments and manage patient flow Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries Maintain accurate patient records in EMR systems Support front desk and back-office operations as needed Required Qualifications 2-3 years of Medical Assistant experience (including externship) Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification Current BLS or CPR certification Experience with: Phlebotomy/venipuncture Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Front and back office operations Required Skills Patient rooming and vital signs collection Scheduling and administrative support EKG and POC testing Strong attention to detail Effective communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer proficiency Preferred Qualifications Experience in Occupational Health settings Strong interest in health education and patient outreach For more details reach at or Call / Text at 516-862-1203 .
