Job Description

Adecco Healthcare and Life Sciences is currently recruiting for a Medical Assistant in Pasadena, CA. This is an on-site opportunity. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:

Medical Assistant may be assigned to various clinic locations between La Canada to
Glendora Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct clinical support to providers during patient visits, including rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, reviewing medical history, and preparing patients for examination Assist with clinical procedures as needed, ensuring proper preparation, sterile technique, and patient safety Accurately document patient information in the electronic health record (EHR) system in a timely manner Coordinate patient flow throughout the clinic to ensure efficiency and minimize wait times Perform routine clinical tasks such as administering injections/vaccines, performing EKGs, phlebotomy (if applicable), and point-of-care testing Respond to patient inquiries, provide basic education, and support follow-up care instructions Maintain exam rooms by stocking supplies, cleaning between patients, and ensuring compliance with infection control protocols Support care team communication, including coordination with providers, front office staff, and other departments Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling, referrals, and prior authorizations Flex between multiple clinic locations to provide coverage as needed and ensure continuity of patient care
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant BLS Experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice Bilingual (spanish/English) Strong organizational and time management skills Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic clinical environment Prior experience working in a float or multi-site role Why work for Adecco? Pay Details:
