This position is essential to our daily operations—supporting our providers and patients, while working collaboratively with internal and external departments and systems. This is a position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, anticipates needs, takes ownership, and enjoys being deeply involved in improving our patient's lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage an efficient, organized clinic flow at various clinic locations across the metro area and western Wisconsin. Willingness to travel to and provide coverage at different clinical locations based on operation needs. Complete the clinic rooming process which includes assisting with gathering all pertinent patient information to prepare both the patient and provider for the exam. Assist the provider during the patient exam as requested, which may include dressing changes and suture/staple removal Entering all patient orders as directed by the provider Scheduling patient appointments as needed Understanding and development of department workflows, policies, protocols, & procedures Assist in compliance with regulatory agencies (OSHA, Department of Health, DEA, etc.) and appropriate documentation and record keeping as it applies to the
Clinical Care Team Required Education and Experience:
Current Unencumbered MN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant Certification (CMA), or associate's degree/diploma in Medical Assisting, Registered Medical Assistant Certification (RMA), or Emergency Medical Technician Certification (EMT) Science or Healthcare Related Degree from an Accredited College or University Current BLS/CPR Certification Required.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Two years' experience in a specialty health care clinic Knowledge of spine and neurological conditions preferred
