Medical Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dermatology team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment. This position is ideal for students interested in healthcare, nursing, physician assistant studies, or medicine who are looking to gain valuable hands-on clinical experience in a private dermatology practice.

Position Summary:

Assist in the delivery of patient care and support the management of dermatology patients in the clinical setting. This role offers direct patient interaction and valuable hands-on clinical experience working alongside a board-certified dermatologist.

Responsibilities:

Prepare exam rooms with necessary instruments and supplies and maintain cleanliness. Room patients and assist with patient flow throughout the clinic. Obtain and document medical histories, symptoms, and other pertinent information in the medical record. Assist the provider with clinical documentation. Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment, including sterilization of instruments. Communicate effectively with patients and provide exceptional customer service.
