Job Description

Sound Health Services is seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered or Certified Medical Assistant to join our growing Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) clinic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented healthcare professional who enjoys providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, organized, and has a strong commitment to creating a positive experience for every patient. We are looking for someone who thrives in a team setting, communicates effectively, and takes pride in delivering high-quality support to both patients and providers. Position Details Full-Time position (40 hours per week) Competitive pay based on education, experience, and qualifications Flexible weekly schedule In-office position
Responsibilities Include:
Prepare and maintain exam rooms to ensure readiness for patient care Welcome and room patients in a professional and timely manner Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical history, and clinical information Update and maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR) system Assist physicians during clinic visits, procedures, and patient care activities Perform instrument cleaning, sterilization, and infection control procedures Answer patient calls, provide follow-up communication, and assist with patient needs Support daily clinic operations to ensure an efficient and positive patient experience
Qualifications:
Current Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential preferred Previous medical office or clinical experience preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Professional, dependable, and team-oriented approach At Sound Health Services, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients while creating a supportive and collaborative workplace for our employees.
