Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Drug Screen Collector / Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team. In this position, you will perform drug screening collections while also providing clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient service.
Responsibilities:
Conduct drug and alcohol screenings following established protocols, including urine, hair, saliva, and breath tests. Ensure proper labeling, handling, and documentation of specimens for testing. Maintain confidentiality and comply with all federal, state, and company regulations (e.g., DOT guidelines). Administer injections, assist healthcare providers with patient intake, vital signs, and basic clinical procedures during physicals. Manage supply inventory, perform other administrative tasks as needed, and maintain a clean work environment. Provide excellent customer service to patients and clients throughout their visit.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification is required. Prior experience in drug screen collection or phlebotomy is a plus (training provided if needed). Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is an advantage. Must pass a background check and drug screening.
