Job Description

Job Overview:
We need an additional CCMA or LPN to work closely with our awesome family nurse practitioners to assist and ensure the delivery of quality patient care while appreciating a team approach.
Responsibilities:
rooming patients, obtaining accurate vitals immunizations and other injections phlebotomy CLIA waived testing EKGs, ear lavage, vision screenings phone nursing, relaying patient results schedule referrals/procedures follow up on outstanding referrals, and orders obtain insurance prior authorizations sterilize instruments, exam rooms other responsibilities as assigned and based on experience Skills and abilities required: EHR experience quality assessment skills excellent written and verbal communication excellent documentation ability to multi-task ability to work independently ability to utilize a team approach when necessary Qualifications for this position: Certified Medical Assistant Licensed LPN Work experience in a primary care/internal medicine setting is preferred but will train the right person
