Job Description

Are you an experienced medical receptionist? We have a rewarding opportunity for detail-oriented and organized Medical Administrative Support Assistants to provide support at the VA Medical Center in Fort Harrison/Helena, MT!
Position will offer:

Position Summary:
Medical support assistants handle customer service, appointment scheduling, and records management.
Duties include:
answer phones, greet Veteran patients, schedule appointments and consults, help determine a clinic's daily needs, verify and update insurance information, and more.
REQUIRED
Skills and Qualifications:
Customer Service Skills:
need excellent customer service skills to interact with Veterans and their families.
Administrative Computer Skills:
need to be proficient in using basic computer systems and software. Must be proficient in typing. Must be skilled in Microsoft Excel.
Medical Terminology:
Familiarity with basic medical terms.
Experience:
On-the-job experience in clerical, office, customer service, or other administrative work is required.
Minimum Education:
high school diploma or
GED Must Have:
