Clinic Medical Assistant Missoula Community Health Services 1208 6th Avenue East, Superior, MT 59872 $24 an hour $24 an hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our clinic team! The ideal candidate will support healthcare providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse population in a rural setting. The role includes both clinical and administrative responsibilities, requiring flexibility, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to community health. This position's schedule is Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm. Base pay of $24/hour, possible increases with relative experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
Take and record vital signs, height, weight, and patient history Administer injections, immunizations, and perform CLIA-Waived lab tests Reconcile patient medication lists Maintain accurate information in the medical record Assist providers with procedures Prepare exam rooms and stock supplies
Phlebotomy Administrative Duties:
Monitor and manage provider schedules Check patients in and out, verify insurance, and collect copays Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries Coordinate referrals and prior authorizations
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program Current CPR/BLS certification Strong communication skills Basic computer literacy and experience with electronic medical records Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Why Join Us?
