None Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Medical Assistant to join our interventional pain management team. In this vital role, you will provide both clinical and administrative support to ensure exceptional patient care. You will assist providers during patient visits and procedures, manage patient flow, and maintain accurate medical records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates empathy and professionalism in every patient interaction.Key Responsibilities:
Greet, room, and triage patients Record vital signs and perform medication reconciliation Assist providers before, during, and after patient visits and procedures Prepare, clean, and maintain exam and procedure rooms Document patient information in EMR (eClinicalWorks) Coordinate with outside offices to obtain/send records, referrals, and imaging Initiate and manage prior authorizations for medications and procedures Prepare charts and support overall clinical workflow Assist with front desk and administrative duties as needed Support C-arm (fluoroscopy) positioning during procedures when needed Handle sensitive patient concerns with professionalism and discretion Perform additional duties as assignedQualifications:
Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent (required) 1-2+ years of Medical Assistant experience (required) Familiarity with medical terminologySkills & Abilities:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused approach Excellent organization and time management Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment Proficiency with computers and EMR systems (eClinicalWorks preferred) Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skillsOur Core Values:
