Oculoplastic Surgery & Aesthetics Location:

Oculoplastics & Aesthetics Compensation:
$20•26/hour , based on experience Ascend Medicine is a growing, independent oculofacial cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery practice seeking a compassionate, motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. We specialize in eyelid surgery, tear duct surgery, orbital surgery, and facial aesthetics in a patient-centered, boutique practice. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain medical histories Assist with in-office procedures and minor surgeries Prepare instruments and procedure rooms Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA compliance Perform clinical photography and basic ophthalmic testing Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and patient communications Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record Qualifications Previous Medical Assistant experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to provide on-the-job training for a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. Ophthalmology, plastic surgery, dermatology, ENT, or other surgical experience is a plus.
