Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in various medical settings, including urgent care, internal medicine, and dermatology. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to supporting both patients and healthcare professionals. This position is in our Hendersonville and Asheville location. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Prepare patients for their appointments by taking medical histories and recording vital signs. Administer medications as directed by physicians and ensure proper documentation. Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. Provide education to patients regarding treatment plans and medication administration. Experience Previous experience in patient care is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures related to internal medicine, dermatology, or emergency medicine is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
