40 Hours/Week We are currently seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA II) to join a busy OB/GYN clinic in Cary, North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant with recent women's health experience.Responsibilities:
Room patients and complete intake, including vital signs, height, weight, and medical history. Review medications, allergies, and preferred pharmacy. Assist providers during examinations and procedures. Perform phlebotomy and collect laboratory specimens. Administer medications as directed by the provider. Perform clinical tests, including EKGs and other office-based procedures. Prepare and stock exam rooms while maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment. Clean and sterilize instruments. Provide patient education and discharge instructions. Assist with patient scheduling, referrals, registration, and check-in/check-out. Answer clinic phone calls and support providers with administrative tasks. Assist during emergency situations as needed.Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of recent full-time Certified Medical Assistant experience Recent OB/GYN experience is required Active Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, AMT, CCMA/NHA, NRCMA, or NCMA) Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES (preferred but not required)Pay:
