Join our dynamic and dedicated team at a busy Internal Medicine practice in Cary as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). We are looking for a compassionate and organized professional who is passionate about patient care and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Triage Patients:
Efficiently assess the needs of patients to ensure timely care and prioritize patient flow.
Obtain Vitals:
Accurately measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate.
Check Messages:
Review and respond to patient messages and inquiries, providing excellent customer service and support.
Assist Providers:
Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare providers to facilitate patient examinations and procedures.
Documentation:
Maintain precise and thorough documentation in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system (Allscripts), ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and patient confidentiality.
Qualifications:
Current CMA certification from an accredited program is required. Previous experience in a medical office setting, preferably in internal medicine. Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly Allscripts, is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

7:45 AM•4:45 PM or 5:00
PM Friday:
7:45 AM•2:00
PM Pay:
$20.00•$22.00 per hour
