The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and medical administrative support, with experience in various medical settings including dermatology, urgent care, and hospital medicine. This role requires proficiency in EHR systems, vital sign monitoring, and medication administration, ensuring high-quality support for our patients. Duties Provide direct patient care by performing intake assessments and documenting medical histories. Measure and record vital signs, ensuring accurate data collection for patient evaluations. Assist healthcare providers with examinations and procedures, including X-rays and medication administration. Maintain patient records using EHR systems, ensuring compliance with medical terminology and coding standards such as ICD coding. Support the clinic's operations by managing appointment scheduling and patient service inquiries. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in various settings including outpatient clinics, emergency medicine, and inpatient care. Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist in patient education and care planning. Uphold safety standards while providing care in high-acuity environments such as Level I and Level II trauma centers. Experience Candidates should possess the following experience: Previous work in gastroenterology, urgent care, or hospital medicine is preferred. Familiarity with medical-surgical practices and internal medicine is advantageous. A solid understanding of basic life support protocols is essential. Previous exposure to clinic environments or outpatient services will be beneficial for this role.
