The position is ideal for someone interested in being a part of a pioneering health program for men. Testosterone Replacement, Erectile Dysfunction, Weight Loss and Vitamin Therapy Responsibilities:
We are mainly looking for someone from Nov 21st to Dec 8th with opportunity to grow to full employment. To work collaboratively within the Gameday environment to enhance the delivery of primary care services. Work in conjunction with the Medical Providers as appropriate to incorporate the Gameday process to provide client centered and outcomes oriented care. Develop long-term, trusting relationships with both clients and peers in providing the primary care services of Gameday. Assist in the delivery of disease management and health promotion programs according to Gameday practice guidelines. Assist in developing and implementing client self-management programs. Provide medical services to the patients in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures of Gameday, state and federal guidelines and regulations. Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information. Perform Venipuncture, basic wound care, and/or cleaning and bandaging injured areas. Administering medications, giving injections, or immunizations as prescribed by a physician. Entering information into computer systems, patient scheduling, and billing activities. Phlebotomy (blood draws) of patients
Job Requirements:
Knowledge of current clinical principles and practices. Knowledge of medications, treatments, materials, supplies, and equipment required. Work collaboratively with the Clinic Director and other healthcare team members. Should have the ability to act responsibly, be accountable, and display excellent problem solving/critical thinking skills. Requires the ability to work independently and prioritize workload. Ability to carry out detailed instructions. Ability and willingness to treat all clients with kindness and consideration. Acts in a professional manner, reflecting the mission of Gameday and demonstrates compliance with all policy, procedures, and federal/state regulations. Greeting patients with a friendly personality with the desire to work and relate with the public. Assisting in lab operations. Maintaining accurate records in EMR and adhering to all HIPAA Protocols. Scheduling appointments. Ensuring all lab results are input into patient charts. Education Required High School Diploma or GED, prefer a degree from an accredited college. Completion of a Medical Assisting program accredited by either the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accreditation Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) is strongly preferred but not required.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Requires Medical Assistant certification by either the American Association of Medical Assistants, American Medical Technologists, National Health Career Association, National Association of Health Professionals, or National Center for Competency Testing. Basic Life Support Certification from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) required. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR). Experience in a related field, such as med spas, urology, family practice, lab, endocrinology, gynecology, or general practice is preferred. No current or pending malpractice lawsuits.
